School Nurse - Baltimore City Public School

Join our team as a School Nurse in Baltimore City Public Schools. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care to students • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed • Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, BMI) • Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans • Respond to medical emergencies and injuries • Maintain accurate health records and immunization compliance • Educate students, staff, and families on health and wellness topics • Collaborate with school staff on accommodations for students with health conditions Qualifications: • Current RN license in the state of Maryland • BSN preferred • School nursing or pediatric experience preferred • CPR/First Aid certification required • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills • Ability to work independently in a school environment • Passion for child health and wellness
