Special Education Teacher — Frederick County Public Schools

Pay: $41.00 - $43.00 per hour Eaglewings Allied Health Staffing Agency LLC is hiring Special Education Teachers (including Mainstream, Specialized/Self-Contained Programs, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and Visually Impaired) for full-time, school-based positions in Frederick County Public Schools. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) • Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs • Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families • Conduct assessments and monitor student progress • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal and state regulations • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field • Valid Maryland teaching certificate in Special Education • Experience with IEP development and implementation • Strong classroom management and instructional skills • Passion for working with students with special needs
